Storia

Il villaggio sorse agli inizi del mwmqXIX secolo come porto per la pesca dell'aringa.cite-ref-visitscotland-2-1[2]cite-ref-us-4-0[4]

Castello di Dunbeath

Edificio principale della località è il mwpqcastello, fondato alla fine del mwpgXV secolo su uno sperone roccioso che dà sul mare e dalla famiglia Chrichton e in seguito dimora del mwpwclan Sinclair.cite-ref-5[5]
